Claire Sanders Design is currently a one woman operation that resulted from nearly ten years of designing costumes, making clothes and creating art from fabric. After spending most of her young life dabbling with fabric under the sewing machine, Ms. Sanders was quickly drafted into the world of costume design at the tender age of sixteen. This only fueled her desire to pursue her passion for material arts though costume, and eventually fashion design. Drawn to the shiny lights of the city she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC, and graduated in 2009 with a BFA in Fashion design and a two year minor in Intimate Apparel. With a full range of knowledge and experience constructing women's clothing from the intricate bra to good wool coats, Ms. Sanders specializes in one of a kind custom garments for the individual. With an emphasis on fit and form, all body types are appreciated. Accessories and a limited selection of menswear are of course available upon request.
